There are further deliveries of food to those who are struggling.



I walk to a larger supermarket and get some food. It’s nice to see people again and I take photos of women carrying their packages on their heads. There is a large police presence and people are asked where they are going.

The Guardian newspaper says that people are desperate to believe in their leaders. Boris Johnson tells the nation that 'things will get worse'. More than 20 flights a day are bringing passengers to London from the US even though C-19 cases are higher there than any other country in the world. Dozens of other daily services touch down in London from virus hotspots, including Spain, Italy and China. Passengers are not screened on arrival and are simply advised to self-isolate for 14 days with no checks on whether they comply. In Rwanda, even at the very beginning before the borders were closed and there were no cases, people were checked for symptoms at the airport, told they had to self isolate for 14 days, and call to report their condition every day.
The United States advises residents of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut not to travel domestically after the number of reported C-19 deaths doubled to over 2,000 nationwide within two days. It took about a month from the first report of a C-19 death on February 29 to the number reaching 1,000 on Thursday. By Saturday, the number of reported deaths had doubled to 2,000.
