Again, I am back to Rulindo to work with the SNECOs. It rains heavily and we are stuck in a school for a long period of time. The Moto drive there and back more than makes up for it, up and down hills with fantastic views over countryside. On the way back I notice we’re above the clouds.

People in the UK and US are panic buying, but bizarrely it’s toilet roll that they’re stocking up on. I hear from friends in the UK about the extortionate prices that some shops are charging, and the lengths that people are going to to get some. I tell the Rwandans I work with what is happening and they seem perplexed. They don’t understand the significance. When I tell them it’s because they’re worried they will run out, they don’t say anything. It’s sort of embarrassing.
In Italy C-19 deaths rise to over 1,000 with cases in the country passing 15,000.
Trump has suspended all travel to US from European countries – except the UK – for 30 days.
UK: 590 cases (Day 41)
US: 987 cases (Day 50)
